Working With Clients

The first question we ask is whether you are more interested in a fun teambuilding experience, or creating a video that solves a business problem. When you want a specific video as the primary priority it's important to consider the location for the VidTeams activity, and issues like what sort of video is going to "fit" with the organization's culture.

If the primary objective is teambuilding it is important that people be able to choose their own team role, that they focus on inclusion and team communication. These aren't just cliche's. For the long haul, getting along with one another requires extra time, listening to everyone's ideas, feelings, and even their frustrations.

VidTeams can present the process live or set-up most of the process with downloaded files, e-mail, by providing access to example videos or even podcast audio.

Before the project begins you will receive and approve a project plan and budget.

At some point the team begins to collaborate - face-to-face or in creating an online script document.

At some later point the team, or a part of it, gets together to shoot the video, and pass-along storyboards, a shot log, and the video files to our editing team.

Very quickly, you review the video and you can ask for additional editing. People have requested music, sound effects, editing-out unnecessary video, titles -- whatever it takes to make the video satisfactory.

We can upload the finished file to our server or you can host it on your own system or on a public video hosting site.
